Last Sunday, June 8th , the ancient Castelldefels Castle was the setting for a great display of solidarity by hosting the ALS Charity Festival . At Vosseler Abogados, we feel a deep sense of pride and immense gratitude for having been able to collaborate on this initiative, promoted by the admirable ELAdos Association for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis research.

The talents of the great rocker Carlos Maestro, the singer Archangel (2018 Latin Grammy Award), the 'cover band' Random, the singer and songwriter Kike ruiz and the very young Pol Calvo (2022 winner of 'The Voice Kids') filled every corner of the Castell with rhythm and emotion. The local singer's impeccable performance Arantxa Jimenez united each performance, reminding us of the purpose that brought us together. Every note, every clap, resonated with a clear message: you are not alone. All together against ALS.

ALS is a disease that strikes without warning, a harsh reality that robs you of mobility, voice , and ultimately, the ability to breathe . It is a degenerative neuromuscular disease that, on average, offers a life expectancy of only three years from the onset of symptoms. It affects 7 out of every 100.000 people worldwide, and behind each statistic is a story, a family, a struggle.

That's why the work of the ELAdos Association, spearheaded by the tireless YouTuber and activist Jordi Sabater Pons, is so vital. Jordi, who suffers from ALS, is much more than a fighter: he is an example of vitality, hope, and above all, love of life. From his YouTube channel , with over 100.000 subscribers and nearly 600 videos, he shares his life from his bed, completely immobile. He can't even speak. He uses sophisticated software that translates his gaze into voice, as you can see in the following video:

Fundraising for research

Their dedication and willpower, along with the collaboration of musical artist Carlos Maestro and the support of the Castelldefels City Council, made this evening possible. Every ticket sold, both in advance and at the door, and every "Row 0" donation, became a ray of light for research. All proceeds from the 18 or 20 euros per ticket will go directly to the search for answers, to unraveling the mysteries of ALS, and, hopefully, to finding a cure.

Vosseler Abogados joins the fight against ALS because we firmly believe in the importance of giving back to society. Supporting causes like this is not just a professional commitment, it's a moral imperative . Seeing how the community unites, how artists and citizens come together for the greater good, inspires us and motivates us to continue working with the same passion we dedicate to our clients.

This concert was not just a musical event; it was a powerful demonstration of solidarity, commitment, and hope . It was a reminder that, even in the face of the most challenging illnesses, unity and action can make a difference.

Thank you to everyone who attended, to the artists, the organizers, and to everyone who, with their contribution, helped build a future where ALS is just a memory. Vosseler Abogados joins the fight against ALS, and we will continue to support initiatives like this one that build a fairer and more humane world.
